Turf Of Grass
Wednesday, 16 June 2010 20:09

“Whoever could make two ears of corn or two blades of grass to grow upon a spot of ground where only one grew before, would deserve better of mankind. And do more essential service to his country than the whole race of politicians put together.”
Gullivers Travels (1726)

Grass is essential to the pitches at Barn Elms and we would be delighted if you felt able to sponsor a turf. The maintenance and improved drainage of the ground is a very important part of the planned improvements. Good management of pitches means that they will be used more consistently and effectively over the seasons. Your donation would be recorded in a book of honour to be held in the new pavilion.
